Social Media, Editorial, Design or Public Relations

What makes a great communication professional?

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Creative thinker

Communication is critical to any insurance agency or companys brand image. Communication professionals develop and execute the brand strategy, distributing content through traditional and social media. They work with journalists at local news outlets to offer expertise on the insurance angle in new stories. The communications professional helps tell the industrys story to the public, particularly during times of natural disasters or other crises when agents are on the front lines helping the public.
