Don't be Shy, Volunteer with Invest
While you may remember your first day of school with memories of worrying about who you’d sit next to in English class or if you’ve worn the hippest outfit, students nowadays don’t judge the guest speakers who visit their classrooms.

Guest speakers during an Invest class provide firsthand knowledge of what it’s like to work in the insurance field, and students have a new appreciation for the industry after hearing a professional speak. And before you’ve even entered the room, they’re already are excited to have someone other than their teacher speaking to them.

What’s more, Invest provides all the materials needed to speak in a classroom, including PowerPoint presentations, quizzes and discussion questions. Topics can include ratings, claims, what to look for in a policy, how you have succeeded in the industry or specific insurance roles, like investigations and fraud.

With more than 60% of insurance professionals retiring in the next ten years, the industry needs to act fast to recruit those voted “Most Likely to Succeed” in the senior superlatives. The brightest students can be attracted to the industry before they’ve even considered their career path by way of intriguing speakers. Invest can help.
