This year, Invest proudly participated in BPA’s National Leadership Conference, connecting directly with students from across the country who are eager to build their business and professional skills. The conference, which is BPA’s premier annual event, brings together thousands of high students to compete, learn, and engage with industry partners, making it a natural fit for Invest’s mission to connect high school students with insurance career pathways.

Through this collaboration, BPA students have actively participated in Invest’s student challenges, gaining exposure to insurance concepts while developing critical thinking and professional skills. These hands-on experiences have opened students’ eyes to an industry they may not have previously considered: one filled with innovation, problem-solving, and diverse career opportunities.

The strength of the Invest-BPA partnership lies in its synergy. BPA’s nationwide network of motivated students pairs seamlessly with Invests industry, driven curriculum and professional connections. Together, they create a bridge between the classroom and the workplace, helping students gain both knowledge and confidence as they explore future careers.

Building on this momentum, Invest looks forward to plugging BPA students into its Surplus Lines Summer Challenge, introducing the dynamic world of surplus lines insurance. Through interactive learning, industry sessions, and professional interviews, students will gain insight into how the surplus lines market supports emerging and high-risk industries.

As participation continues to grow, the partnership between Invest and BPA is doing more than introducing students to insurance. It is helping them envision a future within the industry. Through access to education, real-world experiences and industry mentorship, the two organizations are building a stronger talent pipeline while demonstrating what is possible when learning meets opportunity.
